The CFL S works in much the same way as a fluorescent tube and is one of the smallest in the range which allows them to be used in some of the more compact luminaires where space is limited. The CFL S 2 Pin G23 are non-dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamps and were designed for use in small signs and creative background lighting schemes in theatres, hotels, restaurants and the home.
CFLs should always be used whenever possible because the level of light depreciation and mercury content are very low and the lamp life very long which reduces CO2 emissions making them environmentally an excellent choice.
When changing the CFL S 2 Pin G23 Compact Fluorescent Lamps they should always be replaced with a lamp of the same wattage as the lamp being removed.
